Equality Wisconsin: Time Is Running Out for Passing LGBT Employee Rights

| Dear David, You may be one of many who have spoken out in support of employee rights for transgender state workers. Thank you. Equality Wisconsin continues our efforts to have Gov. Doyle issue an executive order to that effect. On the national level, time is running out for Congress to move forward on the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) to protect LGBT people from job discrimination.
We can't wait another year for ENDA to pass. Please call your House Representative now and demand a vote on ENDA!
It's easy. Call the U.S. Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121, give the operator your ZIP code, and ask to be connected to your Representative. Tell her/him:
My name is ___and I live at (give your street address) in (give your city/town). I am calling in support of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (H.R. 3017) to protect lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people from job discrimination. This bill needs to be voted on NOW. Many of you have spoken out in support of employment rights for transgender state Please pass ENDA now and without any amendments that weaken the bill. Thank you for your time.
