Murat Nemet-Nejat is one of the  great & extraordinary writers today--in poetry, essays, translations and the book Peripheral Spaces of Photography.  Nemet-Nejat has created an extraordinary constellation of works, "oriented" so to speak by/with the concept of EDA, which finds its fullest expression in essays, Introduction and translations in the Anthology of Turkish Contemporary Poetry of that title.

The poetry in EDA is one of the great revelations of a poetry and poetics of our time, and is very appropriate that these pieces by Murat are appearing at Jerome Rothenberg's blog, itself an ongoing Anthology to join with the three volumes already published in his magnificent series POEMS FOR THE MILLENNIUM.
